iBlog

Hi guys, you are now stepping right into Adele Ng's blog. Here, I'll update about the photographs I took, so you could probably consider this as a photo blog. I'm still high schooling and currently attending City Harvest Church. There will be a lot of photos loading across the blog, so do avail yourself and be free to navigate around :)
The wonder of photography that can seize the beautiful moments in our life, tells a frame of mind, story and emotion which we can't express in words under a shutter. I love that!
As much as I love people, I love to photograph them as well. Your comments will definitely drive me forward for a better aspect. Just hit the 'Comment' button at the bottom of the post. Who knows I might thought of planting in this field for the time being.
You can make a difference!
Let's see how deep my camera can perform. I got to discover it. So, see you around! Enjoy reading my blog. Cheers.

Murray Band from City Church Brisbane Australia

It's been some time since I last blogged as I was in midst of a 'Exams Marathon'. I could hardly survive without the internet but I've overcome it! Well, I can actually resist myself from touching the computer for 3 weeks. Not bad right? ;)

By the way, my trial exams has not reach it's end yet. Oh Lord the horror of exams! There's still one day left due to the Hari Raya holidays which announced on last Friday. *sniff*

2 more months away for my SPM. I should start counting down. :(

On the happier note,

This worship team was the bomb!

Haha I think that was my first time witnessing a worship live band with such a vibrant voice! Totally love their spirit!

They're rocking on!

It seems like the actual worship team of my church have their holidays too. ;)
Haha why? Because a high school band will be performing on Pastor Joakim's service which is on this coming weekends!
If you're a high school student, do come and experience this life-changing services by Ps. Joakim and support the high school band formed by the youths of my church. It's their first time letting this group of talented youths leading the praise songs! It's gonna be a blast! Can't wait to see them :D

Annual Musical Production

“Hui Fennn! Wake up, Hu Hui Fen!” Ian shouted.

Eventually, I think most of her neighbors recognize her name by then. Yeah, she was still happily chilling in her own wonderland at the hour of 7.30 whereby she has to reach church at 6.30. With her phone remained in silent mode on the night before, obviously she can’t get up.
After waiting for 10 minutes, we decided to ring her door bell. Out of our expectation, her house has no door bell!!
So, we thought we could knock the pad lock loudly. What do you think? There’s no pad lock because it’s a electrical gate.
Initially, the dog next door was barking vigorously at us, it then got fed up with us and left us shouting at a side.
When every other neighbor had their light on, (probably got woke up by us -.-) Hui Fen’s house still has no respond. When we were about to left, Ian thought of trying at the back street of the house. Fortunately, the testimony arrived!
Hui Fen heard and first thing she thought was, “SUN RAISEEEEEE!!!” Yeah, we reached church at 8. Haha!

When me, Hui Fen and her props member having breakfast in Medan, Ian came with his ministry member to have their breakfast too.
First thing he said when he saw Hui Fen "死野,叹茶?” (In our usual language which means, Sial now you very enjoy hor?) Uncountable jokes I had encountered that morning huh?

There you go our dear Mr Joel Goh. See how he has transformed.

He's so easy to be turn "on" now!

Tribute to Andy's L Lense.

I have 2 more weeks of trial exams to go.. Exhausted :(

Best Production is in the town!

WILL YOU MARRY ME?

I’m soooooooo(next100pages)oo amazed! Because this was the BEST production in town last night. Don't worry, there's 4 more services coming on!

Where?
City Harvest Church.

Church?!? I’m not Christian.
Don’t Worry. This production does not concern whatever your religion is.

Oo. How come? I supposed CHURCH is for CHRISTIANS.
Not really. Everyone is welcomed. It’s a house of God.

Har. I scared leh.. I don’t know a single one there.
Don’t worry, if you come, I assured you that you will have 10 more friends after that. *winks

I see. Erm.. Free?
Yeah, not only that. You will receive a gift (CHC “Holy Water”, lol)

Oh.. but but.. why church? Boring wehh.
The pastor will change your mind. (Sounds scary? Ok I change a bit). I will let you have another thought of what CHURCH is, City Harvest Church I mean. ;)

Drama.. ohh err.. kids do one?
Nope, they’re very well trained and they will probably be more professional than those you see on your house’s plasma tv screen. Hehehehe

How to go? I don’t have a license yet..
I arrange for you la.. I’m just waiting for you to say “Yes.”

Got plans lahh (more… excuses)
Okay, easy la. YOU MISS IT! (joking..)

This is no lie. My pastor will makes you wonder “Is this a church or what???”

Meet my giant idol, Andy Chin. He’s an awesome wedding photographer!
Anyone who wishes to look THIN and SMALL, you’re welcome to pose with him.
He only needs 2 fingers to manage my gadget but I need 4 hands to carry his gear -_-

They're so alike till the walls turned yellow -_-

However, there's a difference!

Adrian's mouth is bigger than Alfred
Adrian's head is bigger than Alfred
Adrian's body(not muscles) is bigger than Alfred
Adrian's tummy is bigger than Alfred
Adrian's eyes is bigger than Alfred
Adrian's hair is bigger than Alfred
So basically, Adrian is bigger than Alfred. Full stop.

Grooming and Toning Workshop

Spent too much time in church. -one of the complaints for Christians.

I need to label myself with that statement. (for today)

Anyway, it was Grooming & Toning Workshop! Not that impressive? because you wasn't there ;) the lucky draws were 'wuuhooo!'

I can sense an excitement drooling out!
There's 5 pieces of them which worth RM100 each.
don't misunderstood me, those are not mine.
It was for the slides.

Pastor and Esther(pastor's wife) would never failed to bring laughter to us. The work shop was really cool.. Both of them taught us how to dress ourselves up and wearing the correct clothing in the correct occasion . Great sense of fashion they have! *thumbs up!* I'm sure a lot of us will look superb next week ;) I can't find other churches are as cool as this.

Currently, pastor is working on a sermon series called the Christian Mind. A must to come!

There is it. Li-Hsia's birthday card is up.

This is my first time making a 3D card!

and I get pastor to sign the card.

Some of you might think, "What so happy about it? he's not signing for you and the card is not for you anyway." Of course, how many of you can get pastor to do this as he's busy all the time ;) Heehee it made my day.

That's my pastor. Announcing the last lucky draw worth RM1000!
Sorry for that big black spot..I'm simply too short and I was sitting on the steps.

The process of this RM1000 lucky draw being taken away was a bit unexpected. While all the crowds happily and expectantly listening to the next lucky draw number because no one seems to come forward to claim their prize, out of nowhere an African girl appeared and ran to the stage with the first number that pastor previously announced. Hmm..

I'm quite sad for you if yours is the next lucky number that pastor gonna say. But it's okay! There better reward waiting for you :D

I have a long list.

Last Friday, Ju Yinn (sorry her name seems to be very happening here) shared a great testimony challenge during cell group, we din't share short, sweet, simple testimony but a long, very sweet and not so simple testimony . By the time we finished we went straight to announcements. No la kidding. hee.. She asked us not just share about how God has worked in our life but also give thanks to at least 2 person in the cell group. :)

The time could not allowed me to share the whole list there, so the only way is to blog about it.

Well, ever since I joined photography ministry (I think most of the ministry are going through the same thing, where they have to serve during the church service itself like ushers, worship team, choirs, console's, pastoring, photography, cafe and many more) I couldn't really focus throughout the service, especially when I attend only 1 service every week. No, I'm not complaining, I'm very much enjoying my ministry. This paragraph just my starting point. ;)

Hence, I want to thank God for cell group! There's no other place I can freely enjoy the God's presence :) This is the place where I can share my thoughts with everyone there supporting, listening and encouraging me. This is the place where I can find comfort and friends. This is the place where I can find forgiveness. Do you know the little things you do, I know it. I have to admit sometimes I felt very irritated at some of them, but when the time goes by, I grew more mature and even more in my prayer and spiritual life. At there, it made me realized how childish I was to be so hot-tempered and everything's bad you can describe me in. Basically, I'm very blessed.

I want to thank my cell leader, Li-hsia. I'm already in her cellgroup even before I came to CHC (actually just a week difference :P) She's very generous and she never failed to provide transport for us *all of us nods head says amen! Hahaha she can go all the way to Puchong and don't mind paying the toll and all just to pick the friends up for cell group. There was a period where I thought she was unfriendly and I always refused to turn to her whenever I got problems (uh-oh) hahaha that was I'm immature. I want to thank God for growth in our relationship. Now, I can always go to her for solutions. She's now happily married to Vincent, which means more problems could be solved about marriage when it's our turn.. hahaha!

Secondly, I want to thank my ah-mats (drivers).. hahaha they are the God-great-hired ahmats in our life.. hahahaha people like KahChun, Patrick, Boon, Adrian+Alfred (seasonally he said, he only drives me during autumn lol), Damian, Victor, Felicia, Lee Peng, soon to be John, Kenneth (he was!).. etc etc.. Sometimes they are generous enough to deal with my last minutes arrangement but still they din't refuse to fetch me.. they're the best!!

Next, I want to thank my 3 friends that I can just go crazy and be myself to them. None other than Joanna JuYinn (sry her name again) and XiaoFern.. hahaha not just in church, but in school, tuition(Jo&Ju), events and more.. but I can't get enough of them because we got too many topics to talk about. 4 persons with 4 different personalities. How amazing is God that can bring people together. They are the one who frequently asked me for cell group before I joined this church..=)

Now, I want to thank God for having a church like this. Not many churches are like that where I could experience more than I expected. If I'm not a member of the church, I won't be able to

-perform in Christmas @ Changs
-joined photography ministry (hahaha I don't see other church got an official ministry like us)
-joined a Community Care and reaching out to do His work outside the 4 walls of a church
-listening to interesting sermons (hahaha if you wonder how can a sermon be funny but relevant at the same time, come to my church ;D)
-know so many good friends
-be more fashionable
-speak a better English
-become who am I today!

Lastly, I also want to thank my ministry leader and members. They're cool people especially when they're in actions with all the not-very-cheap-gadgets. ;p Despite my age, they still treat me very good and tought me a lot of things. Soon, Andy will offering a photography lesson free for the members =) With a chun member like him, what do you expect? we're really bunch of grateful people.

Hahaha, cool? visit www.chc.org.my. Join us today!
